Making science cool in Japan

Yokohama Science Frontier High School is encouraging students to enjoy science and math.

Japan fears it may lose its edge in technology as fewer and fewer young people pursue careers in science and engineering. Some Japanese educators are trying to reverse this trend by making science “cool” again. This story aired on The World last Thursday, and I also produced an audio slideshow about Yokohama Science Frontier High School:
